Going by the title, I’ve spent the best part of today looking for things… and indeed that means: I’ve tried to pack. I did some more tweaks to my bike earlier. Everything should be ship-shaped, just the tyre pressure needs looking at now… oh and after spending a long old while on the AA website I’ve discovered I need a triangle and a hi-vis vest for my trip, between the countries combined I cant go without them. This does not make me happy.
In other news, this time tomorrow I’ll be sleeping in readiness for waking at the crack of night.
I don’t think there are enough words to express my excitement. I feel like I’ve almost remembered everything even if I can’t find half the things I need.
There are some things I wish I had done sooner. For example my E111 form (medical thing that allows me to get treatment overseas) or my IDP (International Driving Permit: something that helps you out when driving overseas and you’re caught speeding or something). I also wish I’d ordered my toys a lot sooner than I have done. I’m still waiting for a charger for my camera that plugs into a 12V plug (without it i’m not going to be able to take many photos)… oh and three more SD cards I ordered up.
I think that’s about it. Right, I’m off to bed!
Hi Neil

Hope you sorted out the triangle in France & that the bike is going well
Where did you sleep last night?(your 1st night of the trip)
