As you may recall Max and Alesha from my visit to Chicago and again to San Francisco. Well they came to visit me here in Barcelona, while we didn’t take many group photos we had a great time together.
The American Invasion
One of the highlights of their great visit was to go to the Michelin star restaurants “Tickets“. I’ll be honest, I love fine food but I’m not very clued up on fine dining chefs or restaurants. So, in fairness to all those connoisseurs who know their salt from their sugar, it was certainly a special experience. The experience was great and here are some of the photos of the wonderful tapas we had.
It wasn’t just Eating Out
I took them to as many places I could while here in Barcelona and on their penultimate day I took them for a drive around the Catalonia I have fallen in love with. Although first I had to take them for churros and to the castle on Montjuïc, and through to my favourite restaurant in Barcelona. Which I have to say was followed by a drive to Montserrat The Forest of Crosses and along through Tibidabo. It was a hectic day but very rewarding! I look forward to another American Invasion whenever they wish to visit!
