So as you may or may not realize, Daisy (my Africa bike) has an uncertain future, and the certainty is resting mostly on selling her up. However, this bank holiday weekend I spent a good while fixing her up for her up-coming MOT. After changing the exhaust, wheels (more tread), brakes, and clutch adjustments… I felt confident she was raring to go.
However, commuting to work this morning 2 miles away from home, at the traffic lights, Daisy stalls, and doesn’t want to know about starting one bit… in the pouring rain and with 40 minutes till work, I find myself walking the poor bike back home, changing keys and riding her more willing sister (Daisy-su) to work. My guess it’s a fuel problem. Hopefully fix that tonight. :/
